Fundraise for One Wish
Have you always wanted to set yourself a challenge, and raise money for a good cause? How about a parachute jump? Or a marathon?

However weird and whacky your fundraising idea may be, we would be delighted if you’d consider the One Wish Dog Foundation as your chosen charity.

We feel very fortunate to be a part of such a loving, caring community of dog lovers. And community fundraising is one of the most vital sources of income for our charity. Put simply, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the generous fundraising and challenges from our fantastic friends and supporters.

See below for just a few ideas of challenges that you can take on to raise money for the One Wish Dog Foundation.

Running, walking or cycling events
A huge number of challenges take place across the UK, and even abroad, throughout the year. From 5Ks to marathons, organised events are very easy to sign up to, or you could also create your own challenge.
Skydives and bungee jumps

Definitely not for the faint hearted, but an awesome way to show your commitment to your favourite charity. Take a leap of faith and raise money for One Wish!
Dry January and quitting smoking
Get healthy and support a good cause at the same time. Donate some of the money that you won’t be spending on cigarettes or at the pub, and ask your friends and family to sponsor you.
Shave your head or beard
Whether you have been growing your hair or beard for months or even years, you can be sure that people will pay good money to see it shaved off! Why not turn it into an event, to collect even more donations on the day?
Workplace fundraising
Get your colleagues involved and raise money for us from your desk. Swear boxes, dress down days and Christmas jumper days are very popular, and how about holding a raffle for a duvet day?
If you don’t fancy taking on a challenge, how about selling your talents for One Wish? You could hold a cake sale, or sell knitted goods, greetings cards and candles? Whatever your talent, you can be sure that there’s a way to put it to good use and help our dogs.

Is your birthday coming up? Or are you getting married soon? How about asking your friends and family to support a One Wish fundraiser in lieu of buying you a gift?
And please make sure to tell us about your plans so that we can thank you personally, and tell our other supporters about what you are doing, to help you to collect even more donations!

Your fundraising means the world to us!
